Sunday October 15, 2:30 pm SHARP

Come to the Fall PLANT SWAP by the GHI Admin Bldg. All Gardeners are Welcome!

If you're a gardener, you can always use new plants and a way to find a good home for those that are taking over your garden.  The GHI Woodlands Committee Fall Plant Swap on Sunday, October 15 is a chance to do both.  It is also an opportunity to meet your neighbors and have some fun at the same time.
Fall is the perfect time to divide your perennials and bulbs as well as sort through your tools.  Swappers bring their extra plants, divisions, seedlings, plants that have outgrown your space/interest, tools in working condition, seeds (this year's, please), garden-related books and magazines, garden decorations, you get the picture!

If you do not have any of the above, bring cookies.  New gardeners can gather a few tips as well as pick up some plants.

However, please do not bring house plants of invasive species such as English Ivy, Pachysandrs, Periwinkle, Rose of Sharon - we have more than enough.

We will also be recycling the plastic pots that your plants come in from the nursery - so if you are not reusing yours - bring them too.

We will set up at 2:00pm and start the swap at 2:30pm.  Come along on October 15 to the GHI Offices on Hamilton Place and join the fun.
