Director of Technical Services:

Responsible for leading the Technical Services Department to maintain the highest possible standards; achieve planned goals and ensure good public relations with all GHI stakeholders. Assist members and administer the permit review process for building improvements and alterations. Review permits applications from start to finish, ensuring that approvals are in compliance with building codes, GHI design guidelines and regulations. Make on-site visits to ensure improvements and alterations are constructed in accordance with the standards specified in the GHI permit.

 

Fleet Mechanic/ Maintenance Worker:

Performs a variety of automotive and mechanical tasks including inspection, repair and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment such as cars, trucks, tractors, lawn mowers and other gasoline or diesel powered equipment.  Coordinates and assists with special projects, as assigned.

 

Grounds Worker:

Maintains common area grounds by mowing, edging, trimming, watering, re-seeding, de-thatching and aerating soil. Assists with crawl space inspections and crawl vent replacements. Removes and disposes of litter, broken branches, leaves and other debris from common area grounds, parking lots and sidewalks. Removes litter from woodland areas.

 

Journeyman Plumber:

Performs general maintenance of a heating, plumbing, electrical and structural nature; follows instructions contained in maintenance requests, work orders and verbal instructions. Repairs or replaces plumbing fixtures and accessories such as faucets, traps, outlets, flush valves, hose bibs, lavatories, commodes, flush tanks, hot and cold water supply lines, building supply valves and lines and other piping within buildings and crawl spaces.
