Member Comments Requested re: Report Prepared by the Administration Building Security Task Force

Last year, staff recommended that due to a spate of incidents of workplace violence across America, GHI should improve security measures within the Administration Building Complex to enhance the security of staff as well as participants at Board and committee meetings. In response, the Board decided to establish a task force to recommend a security plan for the Administration Building Complex.

On April 18, the Board reviewed the report that the security task force prepared (seen here). The Board decided that members should be given an opportunity to review and comment on the report before most of the recommendations are finalized and approved by the Board. 

Members are encouraged to submit comments to the Manager’s office at mgmtoffice@ghi.coop. Alternatively, comments may be submitted either directly to the receptionist’s desk at the Administration office or posted to the Manager’s Office at 1, Hamilton Place, Greenbelt, MD 20770.

Comments should be submitted no later than Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
